3 of the Most Expensive Classic Cars on the Planet

We Would Love to Transport Any One of These Classics

#3

1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale Kellner

Widely known as one of the rarest cars in the world, the 1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale Kellner sold for 9.8 million at an auction in 1987. The car is very famous for being one of the few Bugattis to survive WWII. With a 15 wheelbase and a 12.7 -liter engine it’s kind of hard to miss. The original plan was to manufacture 25 of these but ultimately only 6 were created and only 3 were sold.

1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder

I’m sure you all remember this classic from the classic film “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off”
The car sold in 2008 to Chris Evans for $10.9 million…”Evans…Evans…Evans…”

#1

1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

This famous race car sold at auction for a staggering 12.1 million in 2009 – I would probably be open to paying that for a 3-liter, 300-horsepower, V-12 engine with an 8,000 rpm redline.

Crazy enough in 2011 one sold for 16.39 million and in 2012 a 1964 sold for 32 million. Earlier this year a 1957 250 Testa Rossa reportedly sold for over $39 million.
