Lamborghini’s Powerful Racecars Get Delivered Safely Thanks to United Routes

With the sheer power of being able to hit 60 miles per hour in only 2.5 seconds, and gliding along a racetrack at speeds north of 200 mph with ease, you could easily miss the 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo fly right by you.

Lamborghini’s supreme racing car, used as the sole model for all competitions in the company’s world famous Super Trofeo races, lives up to its maker’s reputation and delivers on and off the track.

With Lamborghini and their racing teams taking part in competitions all the time, they, of course, need their racing cars delivered to and from the racetracks. And being that safe delivery is the highest of priorities for Lamborghini, it goes without mentioning that moving these racing machines need to happen in the most professional manner. So when we at United Routes got the call to move some of their race cars in our enclosed car transport vehicles, we knew we had to be at our best, like we always are.

Lamborghini is Where Power Meets Beauty

With a long history of some of the highest end cars in the exotic car industry, Lamborghini made its name primarily in the private sector among wealthy individuals looking for that one in a million car to call theirs. With their unique designs, including wedge-like contours, and the unusually low and wide feel to all of their cars, people all over the world fell in love with nearly every model that Lamborghini manufactured.

However, it would be silly to make the mistake that Lamborghini’s success has only been limited to their designs. The power of the engines that they produce are some of the most powerful that you can find in any automobile anywhere. The roar of the engine and the thrust felt by anyone inside the car while driving, driver and passenger alike, attest to the obvious fact that one is experiencing true greatness in automobile manufacturing.

The Move to the Racetrack

With all the experience and success that the people at Lamborghini had, it was only natural for them to take the dive into creating a car that would be ideal for racing. They didn’t want to merely produce “just another Italian race car”. Instead, they wanted to manufacture a race car that could easily compete with the great international racing car producers like Ferrari, Mclaren and Porsche.

That’s where the dream of the Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo was born. Following years of research and development, the engineers at Lamborghini created a car that would look and feel like the classic model everyone was used to, but would be able to drive on a whole new plane.

Obviously then, to create this racing car, there were to be many differences between a “racer” and the usual Lamborghini one would see on a residential street. Expensive sound systems, fancy leather seats and airbags were all stripped from plans, as well as even the basic passenger seat. This all, of course, helped to bring the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo’s weight down 330 pounds, a decrease which makes a monstrous difference in the racing world.

Super Trofeo – Lamborghini’s Ultimate Competition

Like with several other international car companies who produce racing cars in addition to their more pedestrian lines, Lamborghini runs an international racing competition every year to promote their company and cars. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is held in various places around the world, including Europe, Asia and America, where some of the best drivers compete. The winners then all compete at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final, where the winner is crowned. The 2016 Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final was held in Vallencia, Spain.

One aspect which is truly unique about the Lamborghini Super Trofeo is, that regardless of whether the races are happening at the initial stages in Europe or the USA, or even in the World Final, every car that’s used, is the Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2. That means that none of the drivers have any mechanical or technical advantage over any of the other drivers. The races and competitions in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo are decided solely by the individual skill of each driver, and how well he/she can handle the personal Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 assigned to them.

Built to Race

The 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo has an extremely sophisticated Motec engine management system, which helps to ensure that the engine is used in its most efficient state. It’s expertly made V10 engine, which is naturally aspirated, helps to give the LP 620-2 the lift it needs to race at its best.

Additionally, a traction control system with nine distinct settings, and a 12 position braking system, significantly help the 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo be the ultimate race car. The tightest of corners are no problem for this racing beast, as the aerodynamics, including a huge spoiler on its back end, help to facilitate the air to keep the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo tight against the ground no matter the speed.
