This 1954 Chevy 3100 is part of the Chevy series known as the Advance Design. There were a number of changes implemented into series starting in 1947 through 1955. However 1954 had arguably the only significant design change of the entire series. Among those changes included switching from a 2 piece windshield to a more curved one-piece, remodeled steering wheel and dashboard, and of course the grille – remodeled to what is known as the “bull nose” grille.
We shipped one these 54′ Chevy 3100’s for Randy and he could not be happier “Here is my new ride delivered by United Routes. Those guys are great, so if you are as picky as me about your classic cars and trucks, use them. Odessa,Missouri to Kemp, Texas, not a scratch. Thanks, Randy”.
Shipped a 56′ Chevy 210 to Family Member
The Chevy 210 was beautiful but unfortunately short-lived, You can only find models from the 1953-1957 making it pretty hard to get your hand on for any Chevy classic enthusiast. The 210 replaced the Styleline Deluxe model and was then taken over by the Biscayne. Our customer Brian had one of the 4-door sedans but this model was offered with a2 door coupe, 2-door hard top, 4 door wagon and 2-door convertible as well.
Brian actually used to work on this car with his uncle while he was in High school. The car has been in his family for over 30 years. #NostalgicMuch. We are so happy we could bring Brian this priceless family treasure. He literally helped restore it over 25 years ago. As far as transport goes, well just ask our customer “It was painless and the car arrived flawless [and] ahead of schedule!”. This car is special but it’s sentimental value is really what anyone would call beautiful.
Texas to Georgia Classic Car Transport
This week we are so proud to feature this 69′ Chevrolet Corvette. We were able to provide a classic car transport from Texas to Georgia. There are some great pictures above, some even include actor Gary Sinise. Our customer Jeff shared the incredible story about the cars original owner.
It’s a very appropriate time as this past Monday was Memorial Day. We would like to thank all our countries’ servicemen and servicewomen for putting their lives on the line every day for the safety of our country. We love you and G-d bless America.
“This car and kids story is really impressive. It was purchased new in August of 1969 for a young man who had just signed up to go and fight with his oldest brother in Nam. He took some road trips with his buddies, then he reported to basic at Ft. Bennington in GA. After completing his training, he took another trip or two in his new Vette. He left for Nam, he was there for 21 days before he was killed in battle helping his fellow platoon members. He received the Bronze Star for his bravery that day on the battlefield.
His distraught parents put the car away in the garage for the next 44 years. His mom and dad have since passed, his oldest brother passed from the effects of Agent Orange. His surviving brother lives in Sarasota. This is a special car with a very special story, I just can’t believe how damn hard it’s been to get any traction on this story, kid and his car. They write country western songs about this stuff….
NANANANANANANANANA Batmobile! Batman was in crisis mode, he had just spent a lovely weekend in the Gotham Islands with a beautiful woman and…What, why so serious? Of course it was with Vicky Vail. Anyways, back to our story, the Batmobile was having some engine trouble and he needed it shipped ASAP to Gotham city. Well, really New York City but let’s not be picky. He needed the expertise of a reliable exotic auto transport service to come to the rescue (he also threatened to break our necks if we didn’t).
After hearing that we offered enclosed car shipping it was not really a question. Now all we needed was the car’s info – This was no easy task, Batman likes to keep things private. Speaking on behalf of his car he just kept repeating “It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.”After much interrogation and a promise to buy Batman some new tights he eventually caved (excuse the pun). Deep down, the Keaton-mobile is comprised of a chevy V8 engine, modeled after a 1970 Corvette body and built on an Impala chassis. Hey, look at that we just so happen to specialize in shipping Corvettes and Chevys.
What we found even more interesting was just the other day some dude Robin called about our enclosed car transport service. He said he was about to purchase a car on Ebay for $620,00 and it had the exact same description. Strange, no? Probably just some wannabe Batman.
Since we are in the business of saving the world (or maybe just your car) we took care of business. As promised the car was delivered with our special “Door to Batcave” Guarantee. The driver was very professional and delivered the car without any funny-business, he was no joker. Batman got exactly what he needed, a no hassle reliable auto transport service.
A week late Batman called to thank us but we couldn’t exactly hear what the quiet mumbler was saying “uhhhuhuhuh you uhuuhuh great job uhuhu break your neck uhuhuhuh” We just assumed he was happy.
